Understanding the Drugs Teens Use

The Gateway Drugs:

Few children and adolescents start a career of drug use by snorting cocaine or injecting heroin. The path usually begins with products from the corner store.

Beyond the Gateway:

Beyond these gateway substances lies a dark world of more powerful drugs that assault bodies and minds more quickly and savagely. These may be grouped into four categories: stimulants, sedatives/ hypnotics, narcotics, and hallucinogens.

It may be tempting to stick your head in the sand, but your kids need you to know what's available to them, how to prevent their involvement, how to recognize if there's a problem developing and how to help if they're already in trouble.

"I am so excited about this ministry. As a young family, just starting to raise children, it is so important for us to have resources like this to come to with questions, and then receive answers from people who love the Lord. Thank you!"
