Your Child and Braces
Aren't Braces Really Expensive?
Yes. A general range is $3,000-7,000
in the United States, and the cost of treatment increases with the age
of the patient. But you
will probably find that it’s worth the expense. Of course, without
an evaluation, an orthodontist’s
office will not be able to give you a precise estimate, but you can go
to www.bracesinfo.com/dentalcosts/ to check a database computing the
cost of orthodontics in 300 US cities.
Some dental insurance policies
include orthodontics, and many doctors will arrange for their fees
to be made in monthly installments. A few
state-sponsored health plans for children cover medically necessary
orthodontics. You might also have an orthodontic school in a nearby university
that
provides treatment at a much lower cost.

"I am so excited about this ministry. As a young family, just starting to raise children, it is so important for us to have resources like this to come to with questions, and then receive answers from people who love the Lord. Thank you!"
